House Funktion "Where House is a Feeling"
Members Jose L. Gonzalez, Luis Romero, Eddie Rodriguez and Jose Burgos formed House Funktion in '97. Inspired by early '90's NYC underground scene.
After years of doing house parties, clubbing and lugging their DJ equipment around to different clubs in the Tri-State area, the crew decided to æexpand their operation.
Soon enough they were joined by Fatima Figuerreo (M.A.W./Dance Ritual) and got their first spot at the Pipeline in Newark, NJ. They introduced themselves to the scene they would soon call their own.
From there on, House Funktion has played at various venuesæ like Love Sexy, Black Box, the Candy Store, Club Blue(Miami), 222 Lounge, Euphoria Lounge, Voodoo Lounge, Swim, Flamboyan, Destino Lounge, Club Miami, Mixtape Sessions, Guernica, Noca Lounge and played side by side with guest DJ's such as Hippie Torales(Pioze), DJ Camacho(Wake Up), DJ Dove, Sandy Rivera(K.O.T), Alix Alvarez, Mario Roberto(Soulsa), Kevin O, Bruce Jeffers(Phunk Farmers), Lancelot and T.O. Sweet(The Candy Store), Carl Dupree(Phuture Sole) and Steve Mestre(Defected) to name a few.
æsix years kicking, House Funktion has branched out to other sources of the dance music industry.
House function members:
Jose L. Gonzalez (graphic designer) has gone on to open his own company Bluprynt Graphx where he has done work for organizations such as MAW, Def Mix, Distant Music and WMC to name a few.

Fatima Figuerreo has worked for M.A.W. and continues to work at venues such as Dance Ritual and æM.A.W. events.
Eddie Rodriguez has ventured into production and remixing.
Luis æRomero continues his role as promotional director for House Funktion.
