DSR special showcase-DJ Cyber

He's finally here! On Thursday, October 9th, Tune in at 5:00 pm EST to witness modern technology wonder- DJ Cyber.
After years and years of hard work and experimentation deep inside his labs, Dr. RH came up with the concept and the outfit for DJ Cyber; a special suit tailored to control music from an external computer source. The suit carries wires that connect the special glove sensors with the helmet, sending any hand movement signals through an antenna to the CPU unit, allowing the user to control and manipulate the audio signal.
Sounds far fetched? that's what we thought when we first viewed the tape that was sent to our offices. But after inviting the talented Cyber to our studios we found out that he is real and he is kickin'. Seeing and hearing Cyber perform is truly a unique experience.
Check it out for yourself this coming Thursday, October 9th from 5:00 pm EST

DJ Giacomo-Special set

On Friday, October 10th, tune in from 4:00-6:00 pm to check out a special set by DJ Giacomo.
Following a great success playing in cities around the world, Giacomo has decided to land himself in the city that never sleeps. A native of Mexico City Giacomo has garnered a following for his style in nightclubs worldwide. Living in London since 1999, Giacomo performed at several locations. From the Notting Hill Carnival to the Beach Blanket Babylon through assorted gigs at The Cross, Plastic People, and many of East London's underground venues.
During the Spring of 2002 and while still in London, Giacomo was also a resident DJ in Mexico's acclaimed Lotus Bar, performing alongside Oscar Fonseca, Miami's Lime Bar resident.
When he hits the decks the drums never stop, adding a Latin beat to that dark thumping experimental sound. Other performances include Nick Warren's Global Underground CD realesa party, the MTV Film Awards after party, opening for Lee Burridge, Jimmy Van M, Mara and Saed and Palash.
As his popularity increased, so did the demand for his work and thus his appearances, like his latest at Smirnoff Experience where he played side by side the legendary Anthony Papa and Josh Wink. His music was always followed by a trendsetting and music savvy crowd who filled the halls party after party to listen to what was referred to as "the most music-forward sets in Mexico - performed by a Mexican DJ - since the arrival of Electronica dance music."
Don't miss one of the best shows around, when DJ Giacomo hits the decks this Friday from 4-6:00 pm.
