JD Turbine.


On Friday, July 18th check out the sounds of JD Turbine from 10:00 pm- 12:00 midnight.
Turbine started out as a DJ in 1996 hosting his own weekly 4-hour show on 89.5FM WSOU in NJ. Seduced by the catchy design, artwork and layout of flyers and records he would find in clothing stores and record shops in downtown Manhattan, by 1999 Turbine had found the change he was looking for in electronic music.
As a DJ, Turbine is eclectic; he cites BT, Jan Johnston and Paul Van Dyk as early influences in his Trance sets. But the music doesn`t stop there. His sets progress into Hard House, Hi- NRG and even breaks.
In addition to becoming more involved with Downshiftradio, Turbinešs plans for the future are a reflection of his passion for electronic music. ŗI am in the process of putting together my own record label, discovering new talent, producing, and pushing further ahead with my DJing. 10 years from now I donšt just want to be another DJ, I want to truly contribute to the scene in Manhattan, the U.S. and abroad, as well as help out other DJs and artists who are as passionate as I am about electronic music."
Turbine will be spinning a live set from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Saturday, June 19th at the new, "NY BRANDS" clothing store in the heart of lower Manhattan at 448 Broadway Ave. (btw. Grand & Howard, just one block North of Canal St.)

Dj ZeroAlpha and Dj 12"-special set.


Hailing from Philadelphia , Dj ZeroAlpha (Bassmentcru.net) and DJ 12" (D.U.D.E. , M.K. Productions) are two of Philly's hottest Local talents.
They both play different styles of music and are proof that music goes by no name but by pure energy and one`s passion towards it.
ZeroAlpha specializes in playing deep soulful house splashed with bits of techy flavor, while 12" specialty is playing Hard Progressive Trance mixed with a few lighter Progressive tracks and a lil Hard house.
Check the boys from Philly as they wreck havoc this Saturday, july 19th from 12-3:00 PM.

Panik Is also known for throwing some of the most unique and amazing day parties and outlaws including the legendary cemetery outlaws.

DJ Integrity.


Integrity's first taste of electronic music came in 1999 at a rave in the New York City suburbs. This unassuming summer night, in retrospect, was the catalyst to a new found passion and journey that he still endeavors on today.
This small window of truly infecting music, amazing dance, and raw, underground atmosphere quickly closed for him when inspirations like Gonzo, Jevic, The Dever, Tommy Tunes, Sykopath, and Kookane ceased to perform or stopped playing the vinyl that induced tangible happiness and forged lasting memories. In 2000, Integrity no longer heard the throbbing and aggressive sound that fueled him one year before. Consequently, he purchased turntables, vowing to bring back the integrity to electronic music. Integrity will be sure to include some of his hardest and darkest Hard Trance, Acid Techno, and NRG from such artists as Mark Tyler, Glenn Wilson, The Liberators, A.S.Y.S., Karim, Paul Glazby, and more.

DJ RED.


Ryan McKay alias DJ Red's unique sound and energetic live performances have made him one of the fastest rising DJ's in Texas. Inspired by a documentary called "Scratch" and performances by Z-trip and Mix Master Mike, Soon after purchasing his turntables Red realized turntablism didn't offer the realm of expression he was looking for, and there began his journey to defining his own style and sound.
His most recent accomplishments includes residencies at the Lizard Lounge, Sandbar, and Insomnia in Dallas, Helios, Club So?, and Sam's Boat in Houston and at Club Hawaii in Longview. While in Texas DJ Red has released 3 cds to his ever growing fan base. The latest cd "Play this Loud" was released February 2003 at his headlining cd release party, Japan 4. Dj Red is now stretching his career into production level while Working with his Houston based crew and other local talent.

Monro is currently building and supporting techno in New York. He is focused on production, global marketing, and playing out in New York City where he continues to build a diverse following. He embraces the idea of pushing a hard and dark European influenced underground techno sound in the US. He has always experienced international techno with the energy and familiarity of New York City.
