A Word From Dan


Hi all,
This week we are going to be away at the Winter Music Conference in Miami and therefore we would not broadcast live from our studios for obvious reasons.
However we have prepared a line of archived shows featuring the highlights of Downshift including sets by Camacho, Disciple and Nicky P. So tune in to the regular line of shows at their regular scheduled time (check our Schedule on the top left section of this page) but bear in mind that we`re away and wouldn't be there to chat with you...till next week.
Conference news: you can catch Ilya, Tania R and the Soul Sauce crew, Kinky Productions, FTL, Monsoon, Rodney BX and myself at the Winter Music Conference held at the Radisson Deauville Resort, Miami, Florida.
We will be there from Tuesday, March 18th till Saturday, March 22nd.
Soul Sauce will be having a party down at Lounge 16, on Thursday, March 20th (see bottom for more details).
So if your going down south don`t forget to stop by and say hi, we`ll have some promos to give away and we`ll be happy to meet you.

Well, we've finished the first round of "Survivors", and it looks like we have to watch the battle one more time in order to come up with the winners.
Donger Vs. Serge, Kai Vs. Lil Ray, Jamie lennox Vs. Messiah. The action started at 10 PM and lasted till 2 AM. During those 4 hours of fierce battle, House music was displayed in all it`s forms and shapes. From old skool, freestyle, to nu-skool Electro, with afro and acid house thrown in between. Wow.
The jurors have decided to wait another week in order to come up with the final decision, before they send the winning team against the folks from Yellorange (March 27th).
Here`s another chance to catch the biggest event ever held at the Downshift studios this year.
