Tune in to UCHRadio

DJ UCH has had a fervent love for music and entertainment for as long as he can remember. He grew up listening to a mix of 1950s Rock & Roll, 1970s Disco, and Classic Motown, with some of his parents' Ibo Nigerian dance music added for good measure. These cross-cultural influences have given UCH the long-lasting realization that we live in a very large and diverse world to musically enjoy.
UCH ventured off into that wide world of music, and got his first dj radio experience at King's College in Northeast Pennsylvania, USA. He started at WRKC 88.5 FM in 1997, and finally realized his lifelong dream of being a disc jockey. UCH gave N.E. PA weekly treats by bringing the grooves of NYC's Palladium, Tunnel, and Limelight nightclubs to the airwaves of Pennsylvania.
Eager to get an early start on his career, UCH returned to NYC to finish school at CUNY's Lehman College. At Lehman, UCH soon joined the on-air staff at WHLC, Lehman College's internet and closed-circuit radio station. At WHLC, UCH honed his on-air speaking and interviewing skills, and soon after attained a voiceover/board operator position at WBAI 99.5 FM (Pacifica Radio NYC) in 1998. WBAI gave UCH an insight on how a radio station runs outside the parameters of college radio, and his newfound experience soon led him to the helm of WHLC as station manager/dj.
UCH established nevermoreRADIO in 1999. This was the radio component of UCH's syndicated variety television show, nevermore (Producer, 1997-2004). nevermoreRADIO brought UCH's WHLC radio segments and mixes from the internet and closed-circuit to syndicated television on a weekly basis. This served as a successful bridge between college radio and corporate radio, affirmed by his addition to Clear Channel's on-air radio staff in 2002-2003 (WPKF/WFKP, 96.1/99.3 KISS FM, Clear Channel Radio of Hudson Valley, NY).
