DJ Soul's illustrious career started in 1992 by winning 3rd place in Fever records "Catch a rising star" competition. In 1998 she won the Guitar Center Spin-off competition which was held in Atlantic City and hosted by DJ Times. Later on that year she also provided vocals for "Too Hot To Handle" by RH Factor and "Skat" (Insulin Records).
In 1999 she performed at the Bronx Puerto Rican Parade DJ Davidson Ave Festival among several bandstand events For the summer series in the Bronx. She also scored a residency at Jimmys Bronx Cafe 6 weeks with millennium ent.
In 2002 she created "Musika Latina" Another Soulful Latin House track this time with Mike "Tank" Martinez. This collaboration led to Future ones with Pete Atlas where they became a Group... "Mediteranian Soul". Also that year she began a project called "Mi amor Latino".
From May 2006- Dec 2007 DJ Soul held a residency with 2dagroove radio.
In Feb 2007 "Mio" (formerly MI amor Latino) has been Signed by Open Bar Records and digitally released on the "Open Bar Brazil" album. Mio was released with 7 remixes by Several renown DJs such as Roc & Vega and John Kano.
That year she also held residencies with CLUB Social Vida, Heaven, Lipstick Lounge, Sultana, Smooches and Mantra.
2008 looks brighter than ever to DJ Soul, as she joins Downshiftradio for her weekly Velvety Sessions airing Fridays from 6-8:00 pm EST.
