The name Savage Blend says it all. Back in 1980, the fusion of Jazz, Turntable scratches and Hip Hop presented by Herbie Hancock Caught the attention of Savage Blend. Savage, a seasoned DJ from the late 70's was no stranger to the sounds of Disco and Funk, influenced by the likes of Dance Master, The Disco Twins and a few live bands. On and off Savage Blend always remained faithful to his music and even though primarily keeping it as a hobby, it always played a role of outmost importance in his life. Savage Blend likes to mix the old with the new; 'It's not the original track that gets people on the floor. It's the DJ's ability to create a new track on the fly.'
