John began his musical studies at the age of seven, studying piano. As a child he played on television, and in contests.
Later, john attended Berkley College of Music, studying jazz piano performance.
After college, john toured, and played in many show, jazz, and punk-rock bands.
In the late 70', when disco hit, john became interested in dance music.
In the 1980's, john became interested in sampling and hip-hop culture. He began going to clubs such as the Funhouse, the Palladium, and the Roxy. (Afrika Bambatta was at the Roxy every friday.)
After attending many clubs, including his favorite, Twilo, john began dj'ing in the 90's. He started with techno records, then began buying deep and vocal house, tech-house, and progressive music.
Little by little, john assembled his private studio, and began to produce house and progressive dance music.
john holds his residency at Downshift every Wednesday night from 11:00 TO 1:00AM, where he plays house and progressive music.
His favorite dj-producers include Danny Tenaglia, Masters At Work, David Morales, Kaskade, Eddie Richards, Niles Hess, Anthony Pappa, and John Digweed.
john's future ambitions include, hopefully, becoming the next Bob Barker, and hosting his own game show.
