DJ Chkalov was one of the pioneer DJs surfacing out of the Soviet Union in early 80's. Spinning Disco, New Wave, Eletrofunk, Acid House and other various styles of EDM, Chaklov was way ahead of his time educating the Russian crowd about the sound of tomorrow. Now, well established as a DJ/Live Performer in the international community, DJChkalov produces his very own breed of electronic music- Hip-Hop/Disco/House/Jazz crossover.
Since the late 70's he has been collecting records, ranging from Disco to Experimental Dance Music. Now he'll spin highlights of his constantly growing collection on DownShift Radio. Enjoy!
