Khan Edison- Songs From The Rockin' Chair II

2008 kicked off for us with a major release coming from Khan Edison entitled "Songs From The Rockin' Chair", out of which Khan's rendition of "Jeremy" quickly became the most downloaded and hottest bootleg of the year. Khan's unique classic rock interpretations have not just been sought after by many, but also created a signature sound all his own. Such a sound which is best experienced by listening to his new release "Songs From The Rockin' Chair II"
Khan's new release opens up with an Elektro Rock anthem entitled "Rock On". Borrowing samples from John Cougar Mellencamp's 80's rock hit "Jack & Diane", Khan mixes tribal breaks with big room guitar riffs which follow this incredible song throughout its progressive structure, ending in a huge elektro-tech explosion.
"Pressure" finds Khan mixing another 80s rock classic, only this time giving the song a brilliant latin rock twist. Original latin style piano riffs meet electric guitar leads in this huge House stomper. Last, "Rio" seals the deal with a funky House interpretation of this pop rock classic. Big room pads, chopped up guitar strumms, and a catchy bassline hook that will leave you begging for more. Listen to samples below.
